Safety First, Always

Trusted care for your little guests, so parents and couples can relax knowing kids are in good hands.

Section 1: Our Commitment

At Our Little Guests, safety is the foundation of everything we do. We go beyond babysitting — we create a professional childcare environment at weddings and events where kids are cared for, engaged, and secure.

Section 2: What Sets Us Apart

Background Checks — Every sitter passes a professional background check.
CPR & First Aid Certified — Sitters are certified or in process before their first event.
Low Ratios — We keep child to sitter ratios intentionally low.
Secure Check-In/Out — Each child receives a sticker with their name; parents get a unique PIN. Pickup requires both the PIN and a government issued ID.
Allergy & Snack Awareness — We provide allergy friendly snacks; parents bring labeled meals.
Cameras for Accountability — Some events may include cameras for sitter oversight and incident documentation (never shared publicly).
Insurance — We carry liability insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance to venues upon request.

Section 3: Health & Illness

Children must be healthy to attend. If a child becomes ill during an event, we’ll notify the parent for pickup right away. This keeps all children safe and comfortable.

Section 4: Behavior & Comfort

New settings can feel overwhelming. If a child becomes upset, our sitters will comfort and redirect them for up to 15 minutes. If they remain distressed, we’ll notify the parent — who can always bring their child back later if ready. Full payment still applies regardless of time spent.

Section 5: Diapering & Bathroom Policy

Parents provide diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes. Our sitters follow hygiene best practices and help children as needed in age appropriate, professional ways.

Section 6: Age Ranges

We care for children ages 6 months to 10 years, with activities planned by age group so everyone feels included. Infants require additional staffing, and larger groups of infants may incur an additional fee.

Section 7: Special Needs & Accommodations

Parents may share details about allergies, medical needs, or special requirements during registration. We’ll do our best to meet them within a group setting. For more complex needs, additional staffing or arrangements may be required.

Section 8: Emergency Procedures

We bring first aid kits to every event and document all incidents. If urgent care is needed, we’ll contact parents immediately and follow provided emergency instructions.
